Harvest of the Month!

Lego GoKarts!

Students studied, researched, built and raced Lego GoKarts. It was a fun way to introduce Project Based Learning before our big project this year. One of the guiding questions of this project was: "Do smaller or larger wheels make the GoKart faster? Why?"

Roman Mosaics

For the past few days we have been exploring Roman contributions. The perfection of Mosaics was a great enhancement to the arts. We studied the Roman style, learned about a famous Load excavation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSq5Xc29XPA), then made our own.
