Anceint India st 6.5.3

Focusing on standard 6.5.3 and how Ancient Hinduism influenced the Indian people long ago, we read about and created our own deities out of play doh. Students finished products were digitalized in their ancient civilizations power point on a slide. Students summarized the importance of the deities to the people, and researched one to replicate with play-doh. Once they made their replica, they summarized the information in a slide with a VTS "circle of viewpoint" of what that deity would have said. Students did an amazing job!

We are starting our study of Ancient India. Today students created a presentation to show other students the location of India, the importance of the location of India and The Aryan Invasion (St 6.5.2). Students summarized the information in a rap, song, poem and skit. The presentation were fantastic!
